Following the grand tradition of the salt trade, we believe that art, like salt, enhances and therefore deserves to cross borders - country borders, state borders, any and all kinds of lines. We will begin with an emphasis on art from Latin America. Wherever we end up we know one thing for sure, we’ll bring it back here, to you.

After World War II my father fled Europe. Stopping in Chicago with only eight dollars to his name, he spent five the first day on two drawings. Growing up as a kid, he also always told us the tale of the King whose daughter loved him as much as the people loved salt. This gallery is in honor of my father, whose kindness and love I can never repay.
