SALTFINEART, FIRST LATIN CONTEMPORARY GALLERY IN BEACH CITIES to open with presentation from MUSEUM OF LATIN AMERICAN ART
Featuring internationally renowned Latin American artists who have exhibited in every corner of the globe, saltfineart will open its doors in Laguna Beach with a bang louder than any stick hitting a piñata.
The inaugural will feature work from Latin American master Ana Mercedes Hoyos, accompanied by cutting-edge contemporary artists Ronald Moran and Mayra Barraza, internationally acclaimed artists Rafael Varela, José Rodriguez, Ocatvio Arosemena, Marco Valencia, Luis Cornejo and notable emerging artists Ana Zamora and Jaime Izaguirre.
Hoyos is recognized as one of the most outstanding artists in present day Colombia - with solo exhibitions in New York, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Mexico City and Buenos Aires. Her work, with commentaries by well-known critics, has been featured in four previous books and in magazines such as Art News, Newsweek, Time and Art in America. She has received numerous awards and invitations from the governments of Japan and the United States.
   Named by Exit Madrid as one of the 100 most influential contemporary Latin American artists of our time, Morán is a young heavy weight, with over 150 group exhibitions throughout the United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia. In 2007, Morán represented El Salvador at the Venice Biennale. He has also exhibited at the Bienal Cuvee in Austria, the Dorsky Curatorial Project in New York and the Margulies Collection in Miami with a recent invitation to the Beijing Biennale in 2010.
  Varela and Barraza, form part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Latin American Art  Long Beach while Arosemana, Cornejo and Rodriguez have all won distinctions from museums throughout their respective regions. Collectively, they have exhibited from Mexico to Paris to Melbourne and beyond.
As a special plus, Museum of Latin American Art (Long Beach) curator Idurre Alonso has decided to lend her support with an original Latin American art presentation. She will also be in attendance at the event.The exhibit will be on display from October 1 - November 1, with the Grand Opening and artists’ reception occurring on October 3, from 6 - 9 pm.

Con una muestra de artistas latinoamericanos de renombre internacional cuya obra ha sido expuesta en cada rincón del mundo, saltfineart abrirá sus puertas en Laguna Beach con un golpe que sonará más fuerte que cualquier palo contra piñata.
La inaugural exhibirá obra de maestra latinoamericana Ana Mercedes Hoyos, acompañada por artistas de la vanguardia contemporánea Ronald Moran y Mayra Barraza,  artistas de aclamo internacional Rafael Varela, José Rodríguez, Octavio Arosemena, Marco Valencia, Luis Cornejo y notables artistas emergentes Ana Zamora y Jaime Izaguirre.
Hoyos es reconocida como una de las artistas más sobresalientes de la actualidad en Colombia - con exhibiciones individuales en Nueva York, Tokio, Los Ángeles, Cuidad de México y Buenos Aires. Su obra, con comentarios de conocidos críticos, ha sido publicada en cuatro libros previos y en revistas como Art News, Newsweek, Time and Art in America. Ha recibido numerosos premios e invitaciones de los gobiernos de Japón y Estados Unidos.

   Varela y Barraza forman parte de la colección permanente del Museo de Arte Latinoamericano (MOOLA, Long Beach). Arosemena, Cornejo y Rodríguez han sido galardonados por distintos museos de sus respectivas regiones. Colectivamente han exhibido de México a Paris a Melbourne y más allá.
   Como un punto más, la curadora del Museo de Arte Latinoamericano (MOOLA, Long Beach), Idurre Alonso, ha decidido apoyar con una presentación original del arte Latinoamericano. También estará asistiendo al evento.
   La muestra será exhibida del 1 de octubre - 1 de noviembre, con la Inauguración y recepción de artistas el 3 de octubre, de 6 - 9 pm.
